The patented TwistGuard extendable tip shroud on these test leads meets the highest electrical safety standards, minimizing tip exposure while offering the flexibility needed for most measurements. The WearGuard lead wire features a wear indicator that alerts users to any damage on the leads, ensuring reliable results.

Each test lead is double insulated with two layers of silicone insulation. The inner contrasting color is exposed when the leads are nicked, scuffed, or otherwise damaged, indicating the need for replacement. The silicone leads are designed to withstand high temperatures and remain flexible even in cold temperatures.

The TL175 test leads feature extra heavy-duty strain relief on both the probe end and plug end, enduring over 30,000 bends without failure. The universal input plugs are compatible with all instruments that accept a standard 4mm shrouded banana plug.
